Simacryl® ER-5101 is mainly used in formulation of heat and noise insulation coatings, concrete adhesives, protective and elastic coatings with high flexibility and low water absorbance.
It is also utilized in textured finishes, and as a primers for mineral and multi-color paints.
At very high pigment volume concentration or when filler with large specific area is present in formulation,the requirement for wetting agent to achieve a uniform coating with good storage stability, should be determind.
Protect from freezing.
The film formed by Simacryl® ER-5101 is soft, clear and slightly tacky. It shows high stability, flexibility and water resistance.
It also has excellent resistance to UV, acid and alkaline.
Simacryl® ER-5101 has good filler compatibility and pigment binding capacity.
