Simacryl® ED-001 acts as a dispersing agent and scale inhibitor to avoid Calcium and Magnesium deposition in industrial aqueous systems such as evaporators, heat exchangers and cooling towers.
Being a water soluble synthetic anti-scaling additive, it is designed to be used in sugar juice evaporators. It can also be used as a viscosity stabilizer for clay slurries applicable in tile and ceramic industry.
Simacryl® ED-001 can be utilized as a dispersing agent for inorganic pigments in paint and ink printing formulations.
It is recommended to store Simacryl® ED-001 in sealed packages and keep it above 5°C to protect it from freezing.
Crystals that are formed below 5°C can be eliminated by indirect heating.
Simacryl® ED-001 Have desirable stability in the presence of hypochlorite and exhibits good performance at low dosage over a wide range of pH and temperature conditions.
It acts as a rheology modifier in mineral suspension.
It also can be used as a deflocculating agent in ceramic slips while increasing the final mechanical stability of the ceramic bodies by increasing the density and clay/water ratio.
