Simacryl DA-135 is a dispersant in the form of sodium salt of carboxylated polyelectrolyte, soluble in every polar solvents such as glycerin and ethylene glycol. Simacryl EDA-531 is a viscosity stabilizer and dispersant for inorganic pigment. It does not hydrolize at high temperatures and it is most effective at alkaline pH.

Rheology modifier in tile and ceramic industry and manufacturing process of firebrick, Simacryl® EDA-531 is a viscosity stabilizer and dispersant for inorganic pigments in paint and ink printing formulations.
In addition this applications it is used as binder in tile glaze.
It is recommended to store Simacryl® EDA-531 in sealed packages and keep it above 5°C to protect it from freezing.
Crystals that are formed below 5°C can be eliminated by indirect heating.
Simacryl® EDA-531 exhibits stability in paint containing Zinc Oxide and other reactive pigments, highly efficient and low foam generation. being soluble in every polar solvents such as glycerin, it dosen’t hydrolize at high temperature and is effective at alkaline pH.
In general, it is compatible with HASE rheology modifiers.
