Simacryl® EDM-04 acts as a dispersing agent that can boost the performance of detergents by inhibiting incrustation and soil redeposition which improves the whiteness and softness of the clothes.
Simacryl® EDM-04 is used as an additive for low-phosphate and phosphate-free detergents. This dispersing agent is used along with zeolite and needs to be added to detergents at rates of 1 – 3 %..
It is recommended to store Simacryl® EDM-04 in sealed packages and keep it above 5°C to protect it from freezing.
Crystals that are formed below 5°C can be eliminated by indirect heating.
Polymeric dispersing agents such as EDM-04 are very effective in formulations of washing machine detergents. it helps to boost detergency, and prevents soil and the salts contained in hard water from being deposited on clothes and the interior parts of the washer.
