- ETC-131
Simacryl® ETC-131 is widely used for producing pressure-sensitive adhesives and adheres well to low surface energy substrates like PVC surfaces. Viscosity of Simacryl® TC-131 would be increased by adding a suitable thickening agent to the dispersion and the formation of foam can be suppressed by adding an antifoam(0.05%-0.15%).

Simacryl®ETC-131 is widely used for producing pressure sensitive adhesives and adhere well to low surface energy substrates like the PVC surfaces.

Adhesives based on Simacryl® ETC-131 can be applied with usual coating systems such as: doctor blades, wire-wound rolls, air knifes, reverse roll coatings, reverse gravure coatings, curtain coatings and jet applicators.
We would suggest adding preservatives to pressure sensitive adhesives formulations containing simacryl ETC-131 to protect system from microbial attack.
In order to prevent contamination of pressure sensitive adhesive, sure that the bulk cap, is closed perfectly after each usage and store it above 5 OC.
Good adhesion is the main feature of Simacryl® ETC-131.
Crosslikange of the polymer is affected by adding alkali and practically no crooslinkage take place at below pH 8.
Crosslinkage has beneficial effect on heat resistance.
