Simacryl® ETC-382B is widely used in automotive industries and production of pressure sensitive adhesives for self-adhesive articles. Simacryl® ETC-382B has spraying ability and good adhesion to plasticized PVC and polyester films.
0.05-0.2% wetting agent is recommended to overcome wetting problems.
Adhesives based on Simacryl® ETC-382B can be applied with usual coating systems such as: doctor blades, wire-wound rolls, air knifes, reverse roll coatings, reverse gravure coatings, curtain coatings and jet applicators.
It should be noted that in prolonged storage the color of Simacryl® TC-283B might change but it still exhibits good adhesion retention.
We would suggest adding preservatives to pressure sensitive adhesives formulations containing simacryl® TC-283B to protect the system from microbial attack.
In order to prevent contamination of pressure sensitive adhesive, sure that the bulk cap, is closed perfectly after each usage and store it above 5 OC.
