ED-004

Simacryl® ED-004 is specially used for dispersion of inorganic pigments and as deflocculating agent in tile and ceramic industry. Effective in pH range of 5-10 and up to temperatures in excess of 80℃. The optimum amount of deflocculating agent required to form a stable rheology behavior depends on the slip nature that is recommended about 0.05-2% of dry solid content. As pigment dispersing agent, the optimum amount depends on chemical nature, particle size and shape. Simacryl® ED-004 acts as a dispersing agent in mineral processing and as anti-scalant specifically for Calcium Carbonate, low solid Kaolin clay and TiO2.

It is recommended to store Simacryl® ED-004 in sealed packages and keep it above 5°C to protect it from freezing. Crystals that are formed below 5°C can be eliminated by indirect heating.

Simacryl® ED-004 is dispersant for stabilizing mineral slurries. It allows lowering the viscosity at the time of initial formulation and maintains a low viscosity during storage.
