Simacryl® EDN-001 is the ideal dispersant when alkali introduction must be avoided: Alumina, Steatite and Porcelain for electrical and sanitary use etc.
It develops synergistic actions when used together with other deflocculants the blend with soda-ash (Na2CO3), Silicates and Phosphates can provide highly cost effective in deflocculation of ceramic body slip.

It is usually added directly in the mill but as it is an easily dispersible liquid, it can also be applied to correct the viscosity of the slips after unloading the mill.
Simacryl® EDN-001 is highly efficient at 0.1-2% on the dry weight of the slip.
Because of their lower residue, they can be used in insulator industry.
It is recommended to store Simacryl® EDN-001 in sealed packages and keep it above 5°C to protect it from freezing.
Crystals that are formed below 5°C can be eliminated by indirect heating.
Compared with inorganic dispersing agent Simacryl® EDN-001 has better dispersibility and increases mechanical stability of tiles an ceramics.
It is compatible with inorganic dispersing agents and maintains a low viscosity during storage.
After addition Simacryl® EDN-001 to slips the deflocculation effect commences immediately.
