Simacryl® ER-0144 is mainly used to manufacture mineral coatings, architectural coatings, interior and exterior paints. It is also used as a primer for multi-color and silicate paints and can be utilized in textured finishes.
By adding texanol or butyl glycol to simacryl® ER-0144 with ratio of 1:3 (Specially in warm weather) or even soft resins like Simacryl® ER-0203, decreasing in its minimum film formation temperature(MFFT) is observed.
Short chain alcohols and glycols may increase resistance of the film formed by Simacryl® ER-0144 .
In the case of using solvent, at first, it should be mixed with pigment paste and then added to the final mixture to achieve uniform dispersion.

Forming a Clear, glossy, stable, high alkaline resistant and extremely high water resistant film is a significant characteristic of the Simacryl® ER-0144. It has high UV resistance, low water absorbance, excellent compatibility with pigments and extenders and also, has very high pigment binding power capacity.
In addition, Simacryl® ER-0144 has excellent adhesion to asbestos cement, concrete and other substrates(XPS,EPS foams) and it has great wet scrub resistance.
